About the project
This site aims to provide an accurate record of Asian migration and life in the UK, with real life stories, historic information and culture examples of life growing up in the UK.
Growing up as a British Asian or the Asian contribution to the World Wars, is not regularly discussed, documented or covered in the media, schools or general literature. So we aim to increase awareness for all site visitors and help share stories of general British Asian life in the UK.
Main Objectives
- To be a reference site for British Asian History
- Document real life stories on life and migration
- Share experiences of British Asians growing up in the 1960’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s
- Increase awareness of Asian involvement in World War 1 and 2
- To provide a time line of major British Asian Events
- Share photos, documents and media on British Asian Culture
This site aims to collect and share information for all, the site will develop into a live history portal and reference site for all to use. This is an ongoing project, so please contribute and come back regularly to watch as the site grows.

We are a not for profit privately funded Social Enterprise, so we have limited resources and finance, you can help and contribute to the site find out more.
